Request Account & Data Deletion

If you signed up for TriCities Board using your Facebook account, Google, email, or any other method, you can request deletion of your account and associated data. Full timelines are also documented in our Privacy Policy — Deletion Policies.

YouTube-related data (7-day SLA)

This site uses YouTube API Services. If you uploaded videos that we published to the Tri-Cities Board or Perks YouTube channels (business profile videos, volunteer Shorts, deal videos), you can request deletion of the data we store about you — video metadata, stored files, and the links between your account and those videos. We delete it as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days.

Deleting the data we store does not affect data stored by YouTube. Videos already published on the Tri-Cities Board or Perks channels remain on those channels under the licence you granted when you submitted them. If you want us to review or remove a published video, email admin@tricitiesboard.org and we will respond. To manage content on a YouTube channel you own, use YouTube Studio or another YouTube application.

How to Delete Your Account

Email Us

Send a deletion request to admin@tricitiesboard.org with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

Confirmation

We will confirm receipt of your request and verify your identity within 2 business days.

Deletion

Your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation. YouTube-related data we store is removed sooner (within 7 calendar days of a YouTube deletion request). Videos already published on our own channels remain there under the licence granted at submission; contact us if you would like one reviewed.

What Gets Deleted

Your account credentials and profile information
Your display name, email, and avatar
All posts, comments, and forum content you created
All marketplace listings
Any saved preferences or settings
YouTube-related metadata we store (video IDs, titles, descriptions, tags) and videos we published to our channels on your behalf

Deleting data from TriCities Board does not automatically delete videos that exist only on YouTube outside our channel uploads (for example, a Short you pasted from your own channel). Those remain under YouTube's own tools and terms.

Google / Facebook access

You can revoke app access in Google's security settings: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. If channel authorization used for YouTube API Services is revoked, we purge associated stored API data within 30 calendar days of detecting the revocation.

If you signed in using Facebook, you can also remove the TriCities Board app from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. That revokes Facebook access; follow the email steps above to delete your TriCities Board account data.
