1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels used by embedded players.

2. How TriCities Board Uses Cookies

TriCities Board is the operating name of Community Print & Publishing Ltd.; "we" and "our" in this policy refer to that company.

Essential cookies / local storage: keep you signed in and remember preferences required for the site to function.
Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies beginning with _ga that hold a randomly generated identifier — not your name, email, or account.
We do not use separate third-party advertising cookies on TriCities Board beyond what embedded players may load.

3. Analytics

Google Analytics tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they were — reported in aggregate, never as a profile of you. We use it to decide what to build next, not to identify individuals, and we do not sell it or use it to target advertising. You can opt out for every site you visit with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. Nothing on TriCities Board stops working if you do.

Business listing analytics: some business listing pages also report visits to that business's own Google Analytics property, so the business can see how its listing performs. This applies only to that business's listing page — never the rest of the site — with Google advertising signals disabled. Your preference below covers both our analytics and business listing analytics.

We also keep a first-party traffic log on our own servers — pages opened, roughly how long they were in view, coarse device type, referring site or campaign tags, and anonymized tap/scroll positions. It is not sent to Google, does not include form values or what you typed, and the same toggle below turns it off on this device. Signed-in activity for your own account (the admin users list) is separate and is not controlled by this switch.

4. YouTube / Google

When you watch or interact with embedded YouTube videos, Google / YouTube may set or access cookies or similar technologies according to the Google Privacy Policy. This site uses YouTube API Services. See our Privacy Policy — YouTube section.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other core features from working.
