September is our soft launch and October is the public launch — these two offers exist for the businesses that back us first.

For businesses

Two launch offers. One of them is permanent.

Both sit on top of the standard Distinguished and Flagship plans and neither changes what a plan costs. The The Golden Hundred records who helped start this. The Launch 25 gets you seen right away.

  • A permanent gold badge on your directory card and profile, and a place on the founding wall
  • One Community-First Business Feature video, maximum 120 seconds when the commitment is completed by October 31, 2026
  • Golden-Glove onboarding with founding priority

One video, one term

More than a business advertisement

Every qualifying business receives one Community-First Business Feature video. It is not a conventional commercial. Our team develops a script around something useful, interesting, or remarkable about the Tri-Cities, and your business belongs inside that story.

One video per business — the featured-business video and the vertical promotional video are the same deliverable under one name. We plan, script, film, and edit it. We do not promise views, virality, or a particular business result.

  • Vertical, made for a phone screen

  • Maximum 120 seconds

  • Scripted by our content team with your input

  • Planned, filmed, and edited — one per business

  • The strongest opening push in the phone feed

Below these three sits Verified: a claimed, ID-verified listing with no monthly cost, one article a month, and no advertising. Every paid plan builds on the one before it. To take part as a Perks vendor, your business must be Verified or better and have Perks NFC hardware set up and working — members redeem by tapping your counter stand or employee card. Replacements are $35 per counter stand and $15 per employee card.

Why the badge means something

A verified local board, not an open directory

A real person behind the listing

Claiming a business takes a one-time $5.00 CAD government photo ID check through Stripe Identity. It is per account, not per listing.

A real business behind the name

We check the name against the BC corporate registry and public records before a claim is approved, so the badge means something to the person reading it.

A badge that is earned, not bought

The Trusted Partner badge appears once a listing is claimed, verified, and on a plan — never on an unclaimed listing.

Perks opens in October 1, 2026

Perks is set to launch on October 1, 2026. A qualifying business is set up and ready for it in September — that is onboarding, not a promise of live redemption before the program opens.

The Foundation has not launched yet

It is our intention that 10% of subscription revenue funds the Tri-Cities Together Foundation once it launches. We would rather say that plainly than imply it is already running.

Before you commit

What is The Golden Hundred?+

The first 100 businesses to prepay two years of Distinguished ($864) or Flagship ($1728). You get a permanent numbered Founding Partner designation, a gold badge, and a place on the founding wall. The two-year price is the standard 20% prepayment saving every business gets — founding recognition costs nothing extra.

How is the Launch 25 different?+

It is the immediate media offer rather than permanent recognition: the first 25 qualifying Distinguished or Flagship businesses, signup closing September 30, 2026 or when the positions fill. Distinguished is $345 for 3 months; Flagship is $495. It includes a Community-First Business Feature video, 1 article a month for the term, onboarding, a Perks stand, launch impressions, and 1 extra free month when you run Perks, hit 10 redemptions, and reach level 2 status — but no founding number, gold badge, or founding-wall placement.

Can I be in both?+

A business that lands in both receives one Community-First Business Feature video, one Perks stand, one onboarding, and the larger Golden Hundred impression package. Quantities do not stack.

What exactly is a Community-First Business Feature?+

One professionally produced vertical video, a maximum of 120 seconds, built around something useful or interesting about the Tri-Cities with your business inside that story. Our team writes, films, and edits it. It is not a conventional commercial, and we do not promise any particular reach or result.

What happens after the deadlines pass?+

The Launch 25 closes September 30, 2026. The included feature for founding partners closes October 31, 2026. Founding numbers stay open until all 100 are claimed, and the plans themselves are always available.

When can my customers actually use Perks?+

Perks is set to launch on October 1, 2026. A qualifying business is set up and ready for it in September — that is onboarding, not a promise of live redemption before the program opens. To take part as a Perks vendor, your business must be Verified or better and have Perks NFC hardware set up and working — members redeem by tapping your counter stand or employee card.

What does it cost to just be listed?+

Nothing per month. A directory listing is free, and claiming it takes the one-time $5.00 CAD ID check. Plans add trust, media, and advertising on top of that.

Can I change or cancel a plan?+

Monthly plans are managed from your dashboard, where you can change plan or billing cycle. Prepaid plans have a 14-day money-back window, less a processing and handling fee. A founding number is never reclaimed on a downgrade.

Help launch the Board.

Create an account, claim your listing, verify once, then pick a plan. Onboarding takes it from there.

Community Supporter

$15 for 3 months, then $5/month

Support local. Save local. Build local. A membership rather than a role: it funds local coverage and hands you member-only deals and a louder voice in return. Cancel anytime and keep the perks through the time you have already paid for.

Where the money goes
  • Member-only local dealsDiscounts and perks from participating Tri-Cities businesses.
  • No plastic cardUnlock a deal on your phone and confirm it with a quick NFC tap at the counter.
  • Better odds in giveaways5 chances in open draws, plus selected member-only giveaways.
  • A real sayYour vote carries 10x weight and you can nominate up to 10 locals a month, against 1 on a free account.
  • Share with your householdAdd up to 5 people for $1/month each — and only once they accept.
  • Deal of the DayA fresh featured deal daily, plus weekly and monthly offers from local partners.

These are not either/or

Supporter is a membership, not a role, so it sits on top of any account — including a business one. A shop owner can be a Community Supporter at their neighbour's shop. Sign in once and everything you have added shows up in the same dashboard.

For non-profits, clubs and teams

There is no organization plan to buy

Non-profits, sports associations, service clubs, faith groups, arts organizations and teams get the complete listing at $0 — every feature a paid business listing has. There is no tier above this one and there is not going to be. Advertising is the only thing we ever charge you for, and it comes with a 10% discount.

  • Logo, cover photo, and a gallery of up to 20 photos

  • A standing profile video, programs, age groups, season, and hours

  • Contact form with its own inbox, so enquiries do not land in a personal email

  • Events on the community calendar and sports schedules by iCal feed

  • Paid staff job postings on your own careers page

  • Free team seats — invite your board, coaches, or comms lead with scoped access

Raise money without building anything

Three different ways to ask, because the right one depends on what you need — cash, things, or a business willing to put its name to something.

Take donations from your listing

Point at whatever you already use — your own page, a charity platform, or an e-transfer address — with your registered charity number on the profile where donors can see it.

Publish an in-kind wishlist

The specific things you need, not a vague ask. People bring the jerseys, the printer, the gift cards, because you said which ones.

Post a sponsorship ask businesses can answer

Your ask appears in the Sponsorship Hub, where local businesses go looking for something to fund. Confirmed sponsors show on a Proud Sponsors wall on your profile.

Org Highlights

Your news, in the same feed people already read

An Org Highlight is a real article on Tri-Cities Board, not a post that scrolls away. It sits on your profile and goes into Boardwide Media where residents are already reading.

4 Org Highlights a month

Season recaps, registration deadlines, fundraiser results, volunteer calls. The same writing allowance a Distinguished business pays for, at no cost.

AI writing and image credits included

Draft it from notes and generate the images in Content Studio, so a story does not wait on somebody finding an hour.

1 video a month, filmed by you

The slot is free and the footage is yours to shoot. We may choose to produce a feature about an organization, but that is our editorial call and not part of the allowance.

Impact Level raises the ceiling

Keeping your listing current and posting real community news earns permanent increases to your monthly allowance.

Everything is moderated against the organization content policy. Keep it about your organization and your community rather than paid promotion, and nothing else is asked of you.

Volunteers

Find the hands you are short of

Post what you need done and let people apply through the Board instead of through a spreadsheet. You review applications, keep a roster, and hold the documents you have to collect — all from your dashboard.

  • Post opportunities with photos and a video, not a line of text
  • Applications, roster, and required documents in one place
  • Volunteer calls can also run as an Org Highlight so they reach readers
  • Switch it on from your listing — it is not a second account to manage

Claim your organization

About two hundred Tri-Cities organizations are already listed and unclaimed. Search for yours first — if it is there, claiming it is faster than starting over.

You will need an account and a verified phone number before you can submit a claim.
